Interested students and graduates are encouraged to apply for individual scholarships at national and international funding organizations, etc.
Erasmus scholarships
Students can apply for an Erasmus mobility grant (which is NOT Erasmus Mundus!) for the second semester in Münster. So students would be able to study the three-semester program with spending the first and third semester at one location, either in Spain or in Portugal, and “only” going abroad for 4 months to Germany. Erasmus mobility grants do not cover full costs, but substantially support living costs for that period.
Many other countries provide scholarships for studying abroad. Please check in your country of residence / nationality. Examples of further funding opportunities for individual scholarships are:

Erasmus+ Master loans
Erasmus+ Master Degree Loans are EU-guaranteed loans with favourable pay-back terms that can help you finance a Master course in an Erasmus+ Programme country.
Currently the scheme is available through banks in Spain and France, for outgoing students from both countries pursuing postgraduate study abroad and students from other Programme countries going to Spain or France for a Master course.
As more banks from around Europe join the scheme, more destinations for postgraduate study will become available. Some 20 to 25 banks are expected to join the scheme by 2020.
It is however not possible to say when exactly any particular country might be covered because the agreements with banks and student loan agencies will be done gradually on a country by country basis.
